Harvest day picnic – Sunday 11th Sept
At twelve o’clock till approximately four o’clock
This is for plot holders, family and friends, and NOT for the general public. Bring food and drink to share, tea and coffee will be provided.
Have a chat with other plot holders, pick each others brains, have a laugh.
Open Day – 19th June.
1.00pm to 5.00pm
Everyone is welcome to visit our allotments and see what we do and what we grow.
There are a number of stalls offering for sale craft items, books, plants and bric-a-brac.
A refreshments stall will be able to provide you with tea, coffee or a cold drink and a selection of fabulous home made cakes. Children are very welcome and there will be activities to keep them amused.
Harvest Home Picnic – 6th Sept
From 12.00 noon
Plotholders families and friends are invited to bring food and drink to share. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Join us for an informal get-together and a good natter. This a great opportunity to discuss the gardening year and your successes and failures, and to pick the brains of other gardeners.
Apple Day – 18th October
From 12.00 noon
Plotholders and their families and friends are welcome to join together in celebration of the harvest of the humble apple.
Tea and coffee will be provided and, if the harvest is a reasonable success we hope to have apple juice available.
We will have some fun activities for everyone, including the inevitable ”apple bobbing”.
This is a great way to bring an end to the main part of our gardening year.
Sherry and Mince Pies – 27th December
Sherry and Mince Pies get-together. Sunday 28th December from 11.00.
Why not pop along for a natter and a glass of something ”cheery”. We can also do tea, coffee and soft drinks. Bring along any left over Christmas food to share and any left over sherry/wine etc. There may also be some mulled wine. Friends and family are very welcome.
